The enigmatic WU LYF return, a band who called it quits on the crest of a cultural, critical and commercial wave. It was a brave move but one borne out of artists regaining control of their destiny and so 15 years on from their debut album the Manchester band return with complete autonomy of their destiny as they shun streamers and the regular means of distribution. Its that control of how the band runs that has resulted in a cathartic collection of emotionally charged and sonically adventurous industrial post punk, noise rock and shoegaze.
