I am truly hypnotised by Tony Conrad & Jennifer Walshe's 'In The Merry Month of May' recorded in 2016 just before Tony's death, the title track is a violin drone and a rumbling drone drawn out with Irish singer Jennifer Walshe matching the avant garde art noise drones by singing the 'Iiiiiiiiiiiin theeeeeeee meeeeeeeerry moooooooonth of maaaaaaaay' over again. It stops me in my tracks and has a grip on me like nothing I've heard this year.
