Pavement have never not been Pavement, they've never had to just find their feet, they've tweaked their sound a bit but from the first single they had that 'thing' that indefinable 'thing' that many have tried to bottle but nobody could nail the secret recipe. 'Westing (by Musket and Sextant)' bought together their earliest of works as a comp just to prove 'aye, they've always been this'. A much needed reissue of this classic collection on their home label Matador.

Coming 15th July: the first Matador pressing of Pavement’s Westing (By Musket And Sextant), the compilation of Pavement’s early work from 1989-1993. The new pressing coincides with this year’s release of the Terror Twilight: Farewell Horizontal 4xLP box set and a 30th anniversary limited vinyl edition of Slanted & Enchanted. Pavement begins several months out touring by headlining Primavera Sound Barcelona before continuing onto sold-out tour dates in North America and Europe.
