It's spacious, sprawling, on 'Pigs (Three Different Ones)' there's a real mean funk to it and 'Sheep' is a head-nodding delight and an anthem for hazy listening sessions. As is the deal with a big birthday like turning 50, this iconic album gets a sweet reissue on Deluxe Edition, Double Vinyl LP edition with extras and of course an Orange Vinyl edition because pigs are orange and that makes complete sense.

*discount not valid on this product

Animals 50 - Deluxe Box Set
Pink Floyd’s Animals celebrates its 50th anniversary with a Deluxe Box Set featuring the original 1977 album, the 2018 Remix album, a collection of rarities, and the previously unreleased May 9, 1977 live recording from the Oakland Coliseum Arena.

The set includes 3LPs featuring the original album, 2018 Remix and rarities; 5CDs featuring the original album, 2018 Remix, rarities and the Oakland concert; and a Blu-ray featuring all of the above audio, with the 2018 Remix available in 5.1 and Dolby Atmos.

The rarities include previously unreleased early versions of “Dogs” and “Sheep,” “Sheep (Original Radio Edit),” a promo-only edit made for radio in 1977 which has never been commercially available until now, a “Studio Jam,” plus the unheard Roger Waters track “Young Nicholas Jon.”

Also included is a 64-page hardback book featuring new sleeve notes by Jonathan Lethem, an interview with Reinhard Hohlwein, an excerpt from Aubrey “Po” Powell’s memoir about the making of the Animals artwork, and previously unpublished photographs documenting the album, artwork, and tour.

The set also features a stencil and three posters.

Animals 50 - 2LP

Pink Floyd’s Animals celebrates its 50th anniversary with a 2LP set featuring the original 1977 album alongside a collection of rarities.
