Here I was enjoying electronic darklord Amon Tobin's scratchy, sinister and tense kosmiche rock 'Chaos Theory' album, thinking how good it was and not realising it's the soundtrack for sneaky-sneaky 'this'll do till another Metal Gear Solid comes out' game Splinter Cell. It's getting a 20th anniversary repress and honestly, it's too good to be snuck away on a PS2 game.
Amon Tobin’s Chaos Theory returns in a 20th Anniversary Reissue of his soundtrack for Ubisoft’s Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory. First released by Ninja Tune in 2005, the ten-track album stands on its own as a cinematic electronic record, moving between stealth, tension and explosive action. This edition presents the full album on transparent green double vinyl, wrapped in an illustrated foldaround poster and clear screen-printed outer.
