Carly Rae Jepsen returns with a new double album "Day and Night" on September 18th. Across 24 songs, the record dreams up a world lavish enough to hold the full expanse of her identity. The lead single “On Wires” surges with urgency, capturing the dizzying pull of desire. “It’s about wanting someone so badly you can barely get through the motions of a night out,” she says. “It’s a real ‘come hither’ song, but the chorus is just me repeating ‘I want you,’ because that’s all I can think about.”
