The final part of band's 'Bunker trilogy' where the band embraced electronic music and adapted it with their magpie'esque ability to pull in 70s German experimental kosmiche sound with dub, techno, hip hop, glam and psychedelic rock. 'Evil Heat' stands as a record overlooked, likely due to the sheer quality of the first two but today the album stands as one of the bands hardest hitting and immediate records.

To celebrate their seminal experimental trilogy - Vanishing Point (1997), XTRMNTR (2000), and Evil Heat (2002) - Primal Scream are reissuing expanded editions of the ‘Bunker Trilogy’ albums for the first time. Newly mastered under the supervision of Bobby Gillespie and Andrew Innes by Matt Colton at Metropolis Studios, London, these comprehensive releases create the definitive document of Primal Scream's revolutionary sonic experiments recorded in their ‘bunker studio’ between the years of 1997-2002. Out on 30th October, Evil Heat will be available on 2LP magenta vinyl and 1CD; featuring the original track list alongside a curated selection of B‑sides and rarities, as well as liner notes by acclaimed author Darran Anderson.
