Long long awaited vinyl reissue from this electro synth pop bopfest. Listening back, honestly forgot how much I smashed this record back in 2008, still can't get enough of that 80s hair-rocking, French touch disco and Karate Kid soundtracking sound.

Ladyhawke is the debut studio album by New Zealand singer-songwriter Pip Brown, released in 2008 - The album is rooted in synth-pop and new wave, drawing clear influence from 1980s electronic pop through its use of synthesizers, programmed drums, and guitar-driven arrangements - This re-issue fairhfully replicates the original 13 track UK version with its gatefold sleeve and lyric booklet, and is pressed on 180g vinyl.

Brown wrote the songs based on personal experiences, with lyrics frequently addressing anxiety, relationships, and feelings of disconnection. The album produced several successful singles, including "My Delirium," "Paris Is Burning," "Dusk Till Dawn," and "Back of the Van," which helped establish Ladyhawke as an international pop act.
