With that, he's made his music even more charming on this release, whereby he has constructed a makeshift choir in his garage and the result is something that gives you both the feeling of a Charlie Brown soundtrack and sunblasted soul. 

Mocky’s new album – and first on Stones Throw - Music Will Explain (Choir Music Vol. 1) is centred around the human voice and attempts to capture the essence of humanity in an increasingly digital and artificial world.

Mocky invited friends and collaborators to crowd around a microphone in his garage, creating a deliberate mixture of human harmonies, live instruments, and analog recording only humans could make.
