This record is a southern blues rockin' funk sledgehammer with an elite band of Ry Cooder, Jim Keltner, Spooner Oldham and Allen Toussaint all bringing the spice but it's Claudia's raspy voice and seductive performance that make this a must for those who like that down and dirty southern soul.

Two Piers Editions are proud to announce a Limited-Edition Vinyl reissue of the classic album “Phew!’ by Claudia Lennear

Former “Ikette” Claudia Lennear’s 1973 solo album is a blend of gritty rock and Southern Funk featuring an all-star line-up including Ry Cooder, Jim Keltner, Spooner Oldham and Allen Toussaint.

Includes the definitive cuts "Sister Angela", “It Ain’t Easy” and "Everything I Do Gonna Be Funky”.

First time on Black Vinyl for many years and a must for any discerning Record Collection

A1) It Ain’t Easy
A2) Sing with the Children
A3) Sister Angela
A4) Not at All
A5) Casey Jones
B1) Goin’ Down
B2) From a Whisper to a Scream
B3) Everything I Do Gonna Be Funky
B4) What’d I Do Wrong
B5) Goin’ Down - Reprise

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0505/7734/2621/files/f7d14e1c-d986-f7ba-891c-b1ca64d0dbfb.jpg?v=1792574927
