Like most-middle age and above rock fan men I can boringly quote the original film line for line. Back when the original was made they bottled some kind of magic that has been often imitated but never bettered, I'm intrigued but mainly cynical about the new film. HOWEVER! I got records to sell and what made Spinal Tap so good was the songs actually slapped because the key to good comedy songs is the tunes have to be killer whether they're hilarious or not. TLDR: Old fake musicians collab with old real musicians.
