Maxïmo Park’s 2005 debut A Certain Trigger was a UK Top 20, BPI Gold-certified landmark of sharp hooks and urgent indie rock, yielding singles including ‘Apply Some Pressure’, ‘Graffiti’, ‘Going Missing’, ‘I Want You To Stay’ and ‘The Coast Is Always Changing’. This 20th anniversary edition pairs the album with Missing Songs, the 2006 compilation of B-sides and demos drawn from the era’s singles, offering a complete snapshot of the band’s breakthrough moment.
